The CSO is a touring orchestra consisting of professional musicians and a chorus. The CSO has developed an enviable reputation for putting on concerts throughout the lower mainland and has formed countless collaborations with artists of both local and international renown. In addition the CSO’s programs bring opportunities to young musicians and artists starting their professional career in music. The CSO’s mission is to bring the highest calibre of music to people on their own doorstep so that they don’t need to travel into the centre of Vancouver to access the highest quality shows.
