Residents from the Fraser Valley and Lower mainland will not need to travel to Vancouver for their concert needs. They won’t need to pay out of town high-ticket prices and parking fees; instead, they can enjoy locally produced, first class concerts from the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. The Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra & Chorus (CSO) is a non-profit society, incorporated in August 1999. The late Maestro John van Liempt and Maestra Paula DeWit, founded the CSO. It was initially created to offer Chilliwack music lovers their own first class symphony orchestra and chorus. Since its inception, the CSO has grown into a touring orchestra consisting of professional musicians.

Our 2026-2027 Season opens on September 25 & 26, 2026 with Handel’s Dixit Dominus paired up with Steffani’s Qui Diligit Mariam.
You’ll find us at St Dunstan’s in Aldergrove on Friday September 25th. We are still confirming our Saturday venue. Pop back.
Mozart Requiem

Advent Messiah

Since our formation in 2022, we have been honored to serve audiences across the Lower Mainland, welcoming listeners of all backgrounds into the breathtaking, original soundscapes of these timeless works.
Symphony Chorus
As an auditioned symphonic choir, the Chilliwack Symphony Chorus is all about working hard, having fun, and doing justice to great music. Our goal is simple: to share the genuine beauty and power of choral singing with our community. Every concert is a chance for us to welcome you into the room and let you experience the incredible energy of a live choir giving it their all.

The Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra is one of the only professional orchestras in the Fraser Valley and east of the Port Mann Bridge. We also have a Baroque ensemble that performs on period instruments.
Chorus
The Chilliwack Symphony Chorus is an auditioned performance choir and we love to sing for people. We have openings in all voice types. Interested singers must be willing to make a year long commitment and must be able to read music.
