Holly Bryan is an accomplished performer and teacher based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Holly enjoys a varied performance schedule, including recent performances with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra, Kamloops Symphony Orchestra, Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra and the Vancouver Film Orchestra. She also plays the natural horn and has performed with period-instrument orchestras including the Victoria Baroque Players, Julliard415 and the Pacific Baroque Orchestra. Holly is passionate about chamber music and is a member of several chamber groups including the Fireside Quintet and Pacific Spirit Brass.
Holly was born and raised in Manitoba, where she received her Bachelor of Music from Brandon University. She now holds a Master of Music from the University of British Columbia. Her primary teachers include Benjamin Kinsman of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and William Gordon. Holly was principal horn in the American Festival Orchestra during their tour to China in 2016, and attended the Pacific Region International Summer Music Academy where she studied with Oto Carrillo of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
