Shane Hanson has established himself as an in-demand countertenor in the Vancouver area. Receiving great praise for his performances locally and abroad, the Canadian born continues to create a professional reputation while completing his studies at the University of British Columbia under the direction of Nancy Hermiston and Dale Throness.
He has performed with the UBC Opera Ensemble, Vancouver Symphony, Early Music Vancouver, and Chilliwack Symphony. Shane’s most notable achievements of 2018 include earning second place in the northwest region of the Met Competition, and covering Orphee for ATG Theatre’s Orphee.


Thomas Lamont is an up and coming tenor from New Westminster. He delights in performing across the lower mainland in a variety of styles including opera, jazz, and musical theatre. Some of his recent engagements include Almaviva in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia with Burnaby Lyric Opera, soloist for Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu Nostri with Early Music Vancouver, Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with UBC Opera, soloist for Handel’s Messiah with the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra, soloist for J.S Bach’s St. John’s Passion with the UBC Symphony Orchestra, and chorus in Vancouver Opera’s La Cenerentola. Currently Thomas is completing a Bachelor’s of Opera Performance at the University of British Columbia studying under lyric baritone Dale Throness.

David Rosborough, Bass-Baritone is an experienced music educator, conductor, composer, singer and accompanist who is active around the Metro Vancouver area. David regularly appears as a chorus member and soloist with the Vancouver Cantata Singers. He has also performed with Pacifica Singers, the Vancouver Chamber Choir, Belle Voci, Rorate, and the Gloria Dei Chorale. His solo engagements have included several productions of Messiah, Haydn’s oratorios Creation and The Seasons, Mozart’s Requiem, and operatic roles in Alcina (Handel) and Tosca (Puccini) with the Vancouver Opera. As an educator, David has taught at Pacific Academy (Surrey, BC) for over 15 years, where he directs two high-school choirs and an award-winning vocal jazz ensemble, in addition to teaching Biology in the IB Diploma Programme. David has also been highly involved in musical theatre, both at Pacific Academy and with community theatre groups in Vancouver and Abbotsford, musical directing shows such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Fiddler on the Roof, Beauty and the Beast, and Last 5 Years. David lives in Aldergrove, BC with his wife, Marianne, and daughters Kaitlyn and Rebecca.
