Thomas Lamont is proud to be making his first appearance with the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. In addition to his studies at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Thomas strives to be an active member of the Lower Mainland’s musical theatre and opera community. A recent highlight was playing the loveable oaf, Freddy-Eynsford Hill in RCMT’s production of My Fair Lady. He has also been featured by: The Metro Theatre, Opera Mariposa, and the now-defunct (and terribly missed) DragonDiva Operatic Theatre. In addition to the stage, he is a devoted student of concert and recital repertoire and has performed Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Die Schöpfung, and Franz Liszt’s Tre sonetti di Petrarca, as well as both Schubert cycles, Die schöne Müllerin and Winterreise. When he isn’t singing or studying, Thomas can be found driving water taxis in False Creek.
